Located in Downtown Sugarcreek, Ohio the Alpine Hills Museum is the perfect first stop on your Amish Country adventure. The museum has no admission charge, we accept and greatly appreciate donations. Your trip through the museum starts with a short video on the Amish culture and the Swiss immigrants impact on the area's rich history. Your tour continues through numerous audio-visual displays that take you back in time to an 1895 fire house, a 1900's Amish kitchen, an 1890 Swiss cheese house, an early wood shop, and even an early newspaper printing shop. Many more artifacts and exhibits also await you. Victorian clothing to multiple military uniforms and much more are on display in the museum that's raved by many to be "one of the best museum's they have ever visited!". Be sure to play our Alphorn before you leave!
